ART JOURNALING
Art journal: Dream on
This simple but pretty art journal page was created with acrylic paints, star stencil and a butterfly. I had some left over blue paint from another project and I didn't want to waste it, so I started to paint and this is how it turned out! To see how I made this mixed media layout, click the link to Youtube time lapse video tutorial at the end of this page.

HOW TO MAKE THIS ART JOURNAL PAGE
I started with background stamping and painted over it with transparent blue, acrylic paint. I didn't have any plan when I started, but as I got inspired by the blue circle made with my sponge dauber, I made some white circles with stamps and I decided to use a blueish paper butterfly as a focal point. Remember to clean your stencil and brushes immediately after use with warm water and let everything dry before you go on to the next step! Acrylic paints dry really fast.
