COSTA DEL SOL IN FEBRUARY
Costa del Sol is famous for sunny days all year
long. The real weather of course depends on luck. This travel started
in the middle of february and the first week it was chilly with
winterclothes on. Next week our luck changed and we enjoyed sunshine.
Occasionally it was even hot.
TORREMOLINOS, BENALMADENA, FUENGIROLA
One of the most popular and oldest towns in Costa
del Sol is Torremolinos where you can sense the air
of an old holiday resort with old hotels in a slightly shaggy
atmosphere. Next town to the south is Benalmadena
which is more affluent and neat. Fuengirola is
recommended to families with children maybe because it´s small and
quiet and most hotels are situated along the beach.

TOURS IN COSTA DEL SOL
To experience a different scenery you can rent a
car or take a bus and go exploring the mountains.
The views are magnificent. In Nerja you can see
huge waves splash against the coastline or visit a stalactite cave. The
biggest town in Costa del Sol is Malaga
which is kind of gloomy and harsh but you can go shopping and
sightseeing there.

FUN THINGS TO DO WITH YOUR KIDS
Children always enjoy going to amusement parks and
there´s a nice one in Benalmaneda. In summertime there´s also a
waterpark. Sea Life in Benalmadena is open all year long and kids love
to explore the magical undersea world there.

Sunshine at last! There´s no
reason why you shouldn´t enjoy the beach even if it´s winter. There´s
no need for high temperature. If it´s a sunny day it will immediately
make you feel warm. The water in the Mediterranean Sea is cold in
winter, but who cares if the sand is hot! If you have courage you can
of course swim in the Mediterranean and make your kids proud of you.
As
you can see in the pictures the beach is not crowded even on a sunny
day. What a chance to reserve the best places for your kids and
yourself!
After
storm the beach will be cleaned up. Children love to watch.
Tips:
There are plenty of beautiful seashells on the beach. Let your kids
collect them and take them home as souveniers.
