DIRECTIONS:
Bake a sponge cake or use another cake recipe you
like.
Sponge cake: Whisk together flour and baking powder in a bowl. In
another bowl, beat eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until pale and
thick. Add boiling water stirring constantly. Add the flour mixture and
stir just enough to mix well. Pour batter into a buttered and floured
cake pan. Bake for 20-30 minutes (oven preheated to 180 ° C / 350 ° F)
until the cake is golden brown and begins to pull away from the sides
of the pan. Let the cake cool completely.
